Job Description

Approval, quarantine or rejection of materials, e.g. raw materials, packaging materials, work in progress bulk and finished products, in accordance with specifications.

Ensure samples are promptly and correctly tested in-house or by external laboratory where necessary.

Prepare and update procedures, work instructions and specifications related to

QC/R&D.

Monitor and review analysis report from external laboratory.

Ensure timely calibration of lab and production equipment which can affect

quality.

Ensure compliance with GMP requirements.

Ensure proper compilation of QA records of all stages of manufacturing.

Monitoring of daily maintenance of DI Water system.

Ensure satisfactory preparation of trial samples,sample submissions, stability test etc, relating to R&D.

Prepare Batch Manufacturing Record in readiness for the 1st commercial manufacturing of the new product.

Attend to the1st commercial manufacturing of new product by being on-hand

throughout the manufacturing steps.

Improve R&D on formula for new products and existing products or processes so as to improve quality and reduce cost.

In-charge of temperature/humidity monitoring in the premise.

Preparation and revision of documentation e.g. Safety Data Sheet, Product Specification, Certificates of Analysis, formulation for product notification and Halal registration.

Promptly investigate customer complaints and follow up that effective actions are implemented.
