The Finance Managerwill be based in Port Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah, Johor.The position is responsible for coordinating/managing all activities related to month end, forecasting and budgeting of the incumbent organization in order to ensure accurate financial statements and forecasting in support of the business and in compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies in order to ensure accurate data that is in compliance with corporate and legislative requirements.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
  • Specialize in leading and managing Finance function/Finance subsection/Shared Services/other Accounting-related area.
  • Furnishes management with timely reviews of organization’s financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
  • Managing company Working Capital and Cash Flow.
  • Provides Fiduciary responsibility with regards to disbursement of all company funds.
  • Managing external audit of company’s accounts.
  • Responsible for Internal control, SOX and compliance.
  • Prepares reports that summarize company business activity and financial position.
  • Establishes or recommends proper accounting treatment or methods.
  • Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
  • Advises management on desirable operational adjustments.
  • Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Establishes relations with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
  • Possesses a Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in the related field is required
