Salary: 15000 - 20000 MYR / month
This person will build, lead and manage the various teams within the business unit, head strategy planning for the business. and drive commercial performance through the implementation of best sales practices, sales process design, commercial reporting and analysis, incentivization schemes and other commercial frameworks.
He/She will also act as the lead facilitator for discussions and collaboration between the team and other functions, teams and business units within the country.
Key Areas / Functional
- For the first six months, the head will lead the ideation, design and implementation of key commercial strategic initiatives aimed at improving sales performance for the business through the direct ownership of key revenue drivers, revenue streams and country performance.
- The head will also be responsible for building the necessary teams required for the business to excel. In the longer term, the head will be responsible for driving the business vision, and ensure continuous growth across the business’ people, products/services and processes.
- Develop and implement new strategic initiatives to Improve the P&L performance of the business.
- Work with key stakeholders across the region to ensure alignment of business strategy and goals.

- Build, lead and manage the various teams and functions within the business unit
- Drive organisational development by hiring top talent and producing top performing managers.
- Target / Goals : P&L, hiring plan, employee satisfaction survey (enps score), team performance and productivity
- Drive the commercial performance of the business via the implementation of an effective sales and marketing strategy
- Ensuring that key sales activities are managed and executed well
- Target / Goals : Revenue and Margins
- Work with both country and regional management to drive the alignment of business goals and ensure successful collaboration between the team and the other teams and functions within the wider business.
- Target / Goals : Collaboration milestones, Cross-sell KPIs, other strategic KPIs
- Preferably degree from reputable University / College in any field
- 4-8 years of experience in Strategic Planning & General Management, Sales management, business development, management consulting or similar roles.
- Proven track record of success in high-pressure environments, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change
- Proven track record of driving complex projects and working with senior stakeholders across the business
- Prior experience driving sales, managing a P&L and delivering on targets
- Experience in hiring, coaching and managing high performing employees
- A data-driven leader, problem-solver and systematic-thinker. Must be comfortable working with financial data and large data sets.
- Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Language Requirements: Proficient in English
