Responsibilities

Review, analyze and evaluate company Products (Services). The scope of Product Department is regional, include but not exhaustive to:

• Create and maintain detailed analysis to outline problems, opportunities and solutions for business performance.

Expanding on the above, but not limited to:

-Analyze and report business performance

• Acquire, filter and “clean” data from various sources and correct code problems
• Interpret data and analyze to identify and provide actionable insights
• Responsible for routine/scheduled review of sales/operational performance
• Perform routine daily/weekly/monthly tasks contributing to department functions.
• Identify and provide solutions to improve products (services)
• Implement and monitor results for effectiveness for further improvements

-Data integrity and security

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Monitor data security

Authorities

• Access to product information
• Make decisions related to requirements
• Access to Clients information including contracts and costing.

Qualifications

• Min. Bachelors Degree in BI/IT/Engineering or equivalent technical/analytical fields
• Must have used basic data management tools such as Excel and Google Sheets
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries. The ability to optimize queries is desired
• Ability to carry out data analysis, identify trends and visualize information
• Good grasp on the concept of datawarehousing. Any working knowledge is a plus
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Hands-on with creating ETL scripts or using ETL tools to generate ETL jobs
• Comfortable in structuring a complex ETL job that requires several sources
• Strong knowledge of and experience of some of solutions mentioned below:

-Reporting packages (Business Objects, Japser etc)

-BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, MicroStrategy etc)

-Databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc)

-Programming (XML, Javascript, etc)
