Job Description :-

Assist the Head of Purchasing in sourcing suppliers of latex, chemicals, other raw materials, fixed assets and various goods/components
Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
Research and look for potential and alternative suppliers
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
Negotiate contract terms and pricing
Prepare updated reports on purchases, delivery information and invoices
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Monitor regularly stock balances and place orders as necessary
Periodically do stock taking in the factory in order to check the stock conditions and records accuracy
Analyze factory consumption data and future purchase plan to prepare and execute sourcing processes
Conduct monthly purchase requirements meeting with production to review purchase forecast and stock status

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical) or any related field is required.
Preferably Chemical Background.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
