PropertyGuru is constantly bridging out into new customers’ experience and businesses across all our markets. One of the core roles will be the QA Engineer role for MyPropertyData fully owned subsidiary of PropertyGuru Group.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with a passion to develop and deliver high quality automation test coverage for the new feature development and making sure the regression cases are up to date. In this role, you will be involved in the whole software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis, test planning, test execution, defect tracking until product delivery and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse functional/non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with QA and Dev team to develop effective Test plan and strategies.
• Execute Test Cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues.
• Participate post-release testing.
• Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Take ownership of automated and manual testing to make sure our app releases are always worthy.
• Raise the bar by reviewing each other’s code, share knowledge, tips & tricks, and generally help – within and across teams. This may include pair programming.
• Drive communication to internal stakeholder on incidents management
• Active participation in Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-up, sprint planning, product grooming, sprint review and retrospective.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience with 1 or more programming languages
• 4+ years of experience with Cucumber/Selenium/Appium or similar test framework
• Hands-on experience developing automated scripts for testing and working with deployment.
• Knowledge of software development process and QA methodologies, familiar with development tools such as Confluence, Jira Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative attitude, ability to take ownership.
• Agile mindset with experience in lean thinking and agile practice
• Self-motivated, fast learner, detail-oriented, team player and continuous improvement.

• Familiarity with Postman
