As an experienced Quality Assurance Executive, you will provide expert technical, quality, and metallurgical engineering and process control advice and direction at our Merlimau site.

As an expert in materials and metals within Quality Assurance, you will improve our level of technical know-how with specifics relating to the material properties and processing methods, and document this information in an easy to use form.

As a process-driven individual with a customer-centric approach to executing work, you will ensure Quality Assurance processes and products conform to meet customer requirements along with business unit goals and objectives.

You will also supervise the technical aspects of the laboratory, sand process and heat treatment sections. Providing technical advice to all Aftercast including Fettling, Inspection and Testing, and Heat Treatment.

Targeting a high level of quality and compliance standards, you will lead the development, implementation, maintenance and continual review of the Quality Management System.

As a subject matter expert, you will design holistic solutions and will work with the Technical and Production team to ensure acceptable quality standards at all levels during the inspection stage and analyse any non-conformities that may be identified.

Your excellent attention to detail and stakeholder engagement skills play an important role in effectively communicating with the Sales teams on quality and delivery timelines in a prompt manner.

Key Technical Criteria:

  • Experience in a Quality Assurance position
  • Materials Engineering, Science, Metallurgy degree or a combination of the relevant industry.
  • Experience working in a Foundry in a similar position
  • Fluent in Written and Verbal English language skills
