Core job responsibilities:

  • To redesign board level hardware involving discreate logic gates, microcontroller, memory and digital high speed I/O standard.
  • To sustain product life cycle such as component EOL replacement or redesign, cost savings, custom engineering project & design improvement project.
  • MFG support such as yield improvement, hardware debugging & MFG continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with PCB layout, mechanical, manufacturing & analog engineer.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales & other R&D groups to identify, define & execute projects.
  • Communicate with global colleagues worldwide.

Qualification: B.S or M.S in Electrical/ Electronic/ Computing Engineering Min 2 years and above of practical, board level hardware design, develop & validation experience.

  • Experience of developing products with discreate logic gates, microcontroller, memory and digital high speed I/O standard.
  • Experience in proto board bring up.
  • Experience in hardware troubleshooting, debugging & factory support.
  • Experience with PCB design, signal integrity, timing analysis & simulation tools.
  • Basic analog knowledge such as onboard power supply, Op-Amp, transistor & etc.
  • Outstanding communication skill with excellent oral & English.
  • LabVIEW is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel abroad for work & training purpose.
