Job Description

  • Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide support in managing Workplace Safety, Health & Environmental.
  • Ensure workplace compliance with relevant WSH regulations.
  • Conduct incident investigations and propose corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and maintain records of site safety orientation, daily toolbox meetings.
  • Proper filing and record retention of HSE report submitted to the consultant, authorities and client.
  • Prepare and submit report/record at the workplace to DOSH upon approval from management.
  • Prepare site safety plan as per Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.
  • Investigate and record risk hazard and incident at work site or workplace.
  • Conduct and review Risk Assessments.
  • Prepare Safe Work Procedures related to Risk Assessments.
  • Conduct site safety inspections, assessments.
  • Coordinate emergency response to include scheduling, training and updating written programs.
  • Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities.
  • Any other duties and responsibility as assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in HSE or in any related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work independently and cope in a fast-paced environment.
