Sales Representative – Local Market (Medical Diagnostics)

Responsible for developing an effective strategy for marketing and ensure the successful performance and profit generation of the molecular product range of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving goals and executing sales plans for clinical molecular products with assigned customers in the channel through the development and leadership of an effective team.
  • Has a deep understanding of molecular products and channel decision levels and actively looks to build relationships in order to better deliver programs and solutions.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining key accounts in assigned territory
  • Provide updates to leadership teams on current field performance and issues.
  • Identify common customer support issues related to Mediven’s molecular product range
  • Develop, manage and expand customers’ base for molecular products in the medical industry
  • Manages and builds key customer relationship by promoting the full range of molecular products and services.
  • Demonstrated skills and attributes include the initiative, problem-solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation and verbal).
  • Ensure the successful achievement of the company’s sales goals across all its regions
  • Oversee the company’s sales performance of molecular products at regional levels
  • Develop an effective sales strategy and ensure its timely implementation to achieve the set target
  • Schedule an occasional meeting with other executives.
  • Keep current with demand and supply of the company’s products/services, economic indicators, changing trends and its competitors

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree, Medical Science, Pharmacy/Pharmacology, Science & Technology, Biotechnology or equivalent.
  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in selling molecular and life science products (local market)
  • Independent and highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • Customer relationship management skills and commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess own vehicle and willing to travel locally
  • Self-driven and result oriented
  • Full-Time position(s) available
  • Based in KL, Sarawak or Sabah
