We are looking for an engaged, motivated and driven Senior Executive, responsible to Communications & Media Engagement for the brand in Malaysia.

This role is suited to someone who is truly enthusiastic about brand building and communications. We are looking for someone who is creative, detailed and understands luxury & lifestyle skincare.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Media & Communications (PR & Social)
  • Champion engaging propositions and strong story angles to create buzz through paid and unpaid channels for fresh offline and online
  • Lead and execute social engagement strategies and be in the forefront to test emerging media
  • Keep abreast of new mediums/methods of communication to stay current in our strategy.
  • Develop press, media and influencer experience programs to bring consistent excitement
  • Strong rapport with media and KOLs to develop brand love to secure maximum brand visibility
  • Key stakeholder to manage all press and influencer relations
  • Ensure language, messaging and assets adopted are locally relevant and adhere to advertising standards.

Influencers
  • Integrate KOLs as part of the broader marketing campaign
  • Manage KOLs from selection, rates negotiation, briefs, asset approvals, feedback, etc.
  • Maintain direct relationships with key influencers
  • Follow through on campaign deliverables and reporting

PR
  • Strategize PR as part of 360 marketing campaigns
  • Manage press release, media pitching, interviews, product seeding and tracking
  • Execute PR sendouts & Events from concept development to activation, media list and reporting

Social Media
  • Strategize Facebook content calendar to storytell launches and campaigns
  • Managing community messages on Facebook in a timely manner
  • Monthly quantitative and visual reporting with KPIs, media and earned social values
  • Lead and drive LIVE events on owned channels or influencers channels

Retailer Partnership & Marketing Operations
  • Kickstarting and managing reviews on Fresh.com
  • Support across function in projects, events and total business

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar capacity - experience in beauty would be a bonus
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • User of Excel, PowerPoint and word applications for business
  • Understand digital content types for targeted channel marketing
  • A positive thinker, driven to ‘make a contribution’ to Fresh
  • Possess a creative flair and able to think outside the box
  • Detail oriented, organized and mindful of timelines
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced and changing dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated, willing and energetic individual with the ability to work within a small team
  • ‘Beauty Junkie’ with a passion for skincare
