Service/Applications Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform installation setup, commissioning and testing of equipment at customers’ site

· To perform routine maintenance on equipment and established preventive maintenance schedule

· On site troubleshooting, repairing and able to determine source of problems in both hardware and software

· Able to answer technical question and provide recommendations corrective actions or solutions in shortest time required

· Provide training to customer

· Handle customer’s service and support needs fully and timely

· Prepare for on-call emergency situation during normal office hours/nights/weekends and travel to customer’s site in short notice

· To ensure accuracy and timely submission of all service reports and documentations

· Work closely with inventory personnel to ensure all service is complete within standard procedure and lead time

· Undertake other duties and responsibility which may assigned by Company from time to time

Job Requirements:

· Candidate possess minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills, willing to learn and hardworking

· Able to work independently

· Posses strong communication, written and interpersonal skills

· Posses teamwork spirit and positive attitude

· Must possess own transport with valid driving license and able to travel outstation

· Able to travel overseas when needed

· Computer literate
