Why this job exist:
Contributes to the elaboration of the customers’ marketing plans and then translating the marketing strategy into sales action plan. To identify “Best Practices” within the export function. Then, drive for international / local adaptation as Global Success Model for implementation.
The Job:
  • Lead and drive effectiveness of global trade marketing function
  • Serve as interface between the marketing and sales departments
  • Lead cross-function project (NPD), coordinate with the marketing dept, identify selling trend and retails category, formulate, update and communicate the retail standard, product display standard, pricing and promotion budget constraint
  • Responsible for trade calendar and monthly sales action plan
  • Translate the commercial/ marketing plans into commercial actions – animations (sales bulletin, trade presenter) for the relevant channel and group of sales rep ie. Key Accounts team, Modern Trade Sales Rep, Distributor Sales Rep, etc.
  • Establish and optimize the basic Trade Marketing process
  • Manage team to create new ideas concept/ tools/ promotions/ and follow the implementation based on understanding of channel differences
  • Market intelligence – assess and collate what the competitors are doing; launches, promotions, prices, assortment
  • Established Commercial Policy for Sales
  • Budgeting & Controlling
  • Responsible for Sales plan execution
The Person:
  • Minimum Degree in Business/Marketing
  • Minimum 8 year related experience with minimum 5 year experience trade marketing
  • Experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage
